We received the update from our agency regarding our Colombian adoption. It was exciting to read that they were trying to finish up the May 05 referrals. We were approved in July 05 so we are not that far away from a referral. It is very comforting to know that we will have another child sometime next year. It's also surreal because that child has already been brought into this world and being cared for by their foster family. This is probably Asher's last Christmas as an only child...poor guy. My sister commented that he really needs another sibling quickly because he knows that her kids leave...
