HAPPY GOTCHA DAY

AVI LUZ!!!

What a difference a year can make! Miss Avi is such a fun little girl! She knows what she wants there isn't a indecisive bone in her body. She is her own person. Last year, Avi was this little thing (not saying that she's much bigger) with little chicklet teeth and beautiful long eyelashes. We went from not doing much at all last year to hitting huge milestones. She is running around the house and making her desires known. She loves her bubba (cloth diapers) and still sucks her thumb. She finally is speaking clearer and we are able to understand what she wants. I think part of the frustration's that she deals with is that she couldn't communicate what she needed. She is extremely smart and not saying that because she's mine. She really is. Avi mimics what everyone does. I busted her the other day with my razor trying to shave her legs and then with the fingernail clippers the other night. She watches Asher and the minute he puts down whatever he is playing with, she's on it. She's very helpful, asking her help pick up toys, papers, etc to put them away, she will.

Avi LOVES horses! I took these pictures on her Gotcha day. Jay brought the horse to the house and she saw him from the window. She went into to full fledged fit mode. She wanted out there and wanted to ride. Usually, it's dramatic getting her down. She wants to ride. I've told Jay that this is his protege.

Avi has my grandfather wrapped around her little finger. The other day I busted her in his candy stash. I told him about it and he said "that's ok". She will sit on his lap and take everything out of his front pockets. She takes her cup and he fills it up for her with juice. Not like me, who will put water in it. In fact, if she sees me at the water cooler filling up her cup, she starts throwing a fit. A fit is usually a few screams, the word no being thrown about and then she throws her cup. If she doesn't have her cup, all the above happens but she'll run away before handing her the cup.

She has the cutest little rasp for a voice. Whenever anyone burps, she'll say "scuse you". Loves to dance, talk and sing. These are just a few things about her that we see daily. I'm very glad that we were blessed with this little girl. She's been quite a handful but she's fits perfect in our family! Asher and Avi get along very well. The transition this year for both children has been very easy. Asher watches over her and doesn't mind sharing eith
